This item is a collection of price lists from 2009 for a handful of hospitals. Included are procedure pricelists (called "chargemaster" or "charge description master(CDM)" databases) from University of Illinois Medical Center Chicago (UIC) (a 500-bed public teaching hospital and large outpatient center), University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (UIMC) (a 750-bed public teaching hospital) Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis (a 500-bed public hospital), and Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland. For reference, the medicare reimbusement schedule for 2009 is included, converted in to dollars and cents for a provider in the Chicago area. Also included is a 2008 wholesale pharmacy pricelist from the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and a 2008 retail pharmacy pricelist from the UIC Medical Center.
