Published in 1914. By an Anglo-French journalist and writer, William Tufnell Le Queux, many of whose works offer an insight into the workings of espionage. Le Queux is remembered by writing mysteries and crime with a great deal of success. Being an extensive traveler, who visited most of the countries of Europe, he was also the author of travel books and radio and television articles.
