23 Dec 2010 02:30:28 The first one to be published is entitled "William and Kate: A Royal Love Story" was released Dec. 21 and is an unauthorized look at the couple's relationship. In it, author and journalist Christopher Andersen chronicles the struggles Prince William and Middleton went through in the course of nine years.
The royal couple met as friends in 2001 at St. Andrews University and endured several crises along the way. Cheating, drugs, parties and depression are taken into account in the biographical look at the world's most famous romance.
USA Today reports another important development Andersen has uncovered. Queen Elizabeth II has allegedly been considering abdicated her throne to Prince Charles perhaps as early as 2012. Charles is currently 62 years old and may also quickly abdicate his throne after only 20 or so years. If so, King William V and Queen Catherine may be on the throne sooner than many Brits think.
Another important aspect of Andersen's book is the recurring nightmare of Prince William about his bride-to-be. Since Middleton was not of royal lineage she didn't have the protection from the press afforded to the Royal Family. Prince William always feared the media would get to Middleton much like the young prince blames the paparazzi for the death of his mother, Princess Diana. Now that Middleton is going to be a future queen, British security can keep the press away from the royals.
