A Study about the Persian Cultural Legacy and Background of the Sufi Mystics Shams Tabrizi and Jalal al-Din Rumi
Thus there is no dispute about Rumiâs culture, literary heritage. And even his native language as mentioned by scholars was Persian. This article discusses the Persian background of Rumi and responds to some recent distortions by some nationalistic circles who have tried to deprive him of his Iranian heritage.
