Catalog or logbook of cases of alleged recovery from wounds to the liver, kidney, gall bladder, ureter, blood vessels, hepatic duct, and from muscle rupture. Includes a list of "doubtful cases," a bibliography, and notes taken from historical literature. Most cases are from the Civil War, which lists the patient's name, home state, and regiment and company, but the range of dates is from the late 17th to the late 19th centuries.
