The modern evangelical and protestant churches are going through a visible and continuous deterioration process. The main goal of Christianity which is to convert people's lives to a new set of life principles, based on true adoration of God, in an earnest commitment to sanctity and to serve each other, in both material and spiritual needs is being consistently overlooked. Those principles, which always steered the early times Christian churches remain today only in the customary sermons delivered during the regular Services and are not incorporated in most of the churchgoers' real life. The Christian principles are being taught more and more as something to believe but not something to be lived. Our churches are gradually becoming social institutions, like an elite club or a philanthropic association, formed by people totally dissociated of their crucial roles as members of the living body of Christ.
