Clothes and Toys Project for Rural Tibetans--2008
We want to thank everyone who contributed and, in particular, Brits Abroad, the British International School Shanghai, the British Chamber of Commerce, American Chamber of Commerce, Shanghai Expat Association, the Equatorial Hotel, and Office Lister who contributed time and effort in facilitating the collection in Shanghai. Particular thanks go to AGS Fourwinds for once again organizing and sponsoring the logistics of getting clothes and toys to Qinghai. The table below summarizes clothes and toys distributed (19,564; which included many small toys) to a total of 6,505 Tibetans (2,780 males; 3,129 females) in Qinghai and Gansu provinces.
