The ill. on p. 13 depicts the clothed corpse arranged in a chair on the catafalque. Woodcut tail-pieces, that on p. 11 signed: Auda. Initials Binding: early sheepskin. Boards tooled with double gilt frames, fleurons at corners. Spine and edges of boards tooled in gilt. Several shelf marks on front free endpaper recto Centered on front pastedown is the armorial bookplate of: Le Marquis de Barol (i.e. Carlo G. Falletti di Barolo, 1731-1800; see Gelli, n. 411). The arms are identical with the Falletti arms as they appear in the present work
