Die Allgemeine Aesthetik R. Zimmermann's als Grundlegung des »Kunstwollens« bei A. Riegl
The idea of the »Kunstwollen« from Alois Riegl is different from the ideas from Gottfried Semper, who think, that the certain kind of arts in a epoch arise primary from the development of technics and materials. The answer of the question for the source of the idea about the »Kunstwollen« is a desiderat for the history of theory in history of arts.
I think, that my contribution can elucidate the origins of Alois Riegl in the austrian philosopher Robert Zimmermann (1824 â 1898), who works out a model of the relationsship of an artist or inventor to his reasonable public in his concepts of »Sprachgenossenschaft« and »Gesinnungsgenossenschaft«.
