La ciudad de Granada cuenta con un excepcional patrimonio paisajistico que ha sido valorado por viajeros y artistas desde su configuracion como capital del Reino Nazari­ hasta la actualidad. El presente articulo analiza esta valoracion del mismo centrandose en uno de sus elementos paisaji­sticos mas singulares: el Cerro de San Miguel, a traves de las descripciones del mismo en los libros de viaje y su representacion arti­stica en grabados, dibujos, fotografi­as y oleos. The city of Granada has an exceptional landscape heritage that has been valued by travellers and artists since its appointment as the capital of the Nazari Kingdom up to the present. This article carries out an analysis of this valuation focused on one of its key landscape elements: the Cerro de San Miguel (St. Miguel Hill), through descriptions of this hill found in travelling books, and its artistic illustration in engravings, drawings, pictures and oil paintings.
