La labor de Jose N. Rovirosa como microscopista
The Mexican Naturalist Jose N. Rovirosa is remembered for his contribution to the study of the flora from Tabasco and Chiapas. The Tabascan History acknowledge him as the pioneer of the microscopy applied to the plant anatomy and the taxonomy studies at the Southern of Mexico in the second half of the nineteenth century.
