Manaazir-ul-Masaa'ib or Scenes of Tribulations

Book cover
In this book the author describes his reasons and journey away from certain established Islamic beliefs of his mentors and those of the majority of Muslims. In particular he emphasises the basis for refusing to follow the notion that the generally accepted line of succession to the founder of Islam, which includes the first two Umayyad rulers, has any sound basis. He argues instead for a complete theological and moral re-evaluation of these views, refuting in the process many established beliefs and outdated ideas that fly in the face of all historical evidence and moral and theological arguments.
