The part here printed forms the second book of the first part of the manuscript. A French translation of the same text from a different manuscript was published in Paris in 1840, as v. 17 of Henri Ternaux-Compans' "Voyages, relations et mémoires originaux", under title: Mémoires historiques sur l'ancien Pérou." The "Informacions acerea del señorío y gobierno de los Ingas ... 1570-1572" (p. [177]-259) are from a ms. in the Archivo de Indias
