the magazine started off in autumn 2006. it releases three 'books' a year. authors from the berlin-babel-mixed literary scene around torstrasze (torstreet or gate-street) and schoenhauser allee throw their stuff into it. it wants to keep the question alive, how language develops and changes in a multilangual writing biosphere with east-european focus and what the signals and acii-signs of this changement might be. the 'book' somehow feels good in a protest and oppositional thinking reader´s perception. at least it seems to prefer this. phrases like "aestetics of oeconomical resistance" seem to belong to its basic thinking direction. --- book two including lyrics from some subkommando.pappelschnee.de - authors, FLOPPY MYRIAPODA - writers and even some members of the famous group "ANARCHO POWER". book three: including some student opposition and G8/heiligendamm-protest-items in pictures and poetry, poems from tanja dückers, art of "artanarchistes" and again: "anarcho power"-stuff. --- digital contact: on page 2. --- analogue area / regional info: "what once was a "prenzlauer berg", now turned to "pankow". first we had to accept it, then we started to like the idea inside (PANKow), get used to it... now ... we even think of a next new name for the kiez (in berlin: expression for 'quartier'). so why not keep to the roots and call it a - PANKBERG?"
