Songs of a Sourdough
Perhaps, best-known collection of verse that brought international fame to Robert William Service (1874 –1958), a poet and author, best-known for his writings on the Canadian North. This book, published in1907, is known in the United States under the title “The Spell of the Yukon and Other Verses”. In all Service published 15 collections on verse and six novels, describing different people, and their uneasy lives.
