T. De Witt Talmage
This is an account of life of the author himself who wrote it, as he recognized, first of all for his children. Thomas De Witt Talmage (1832 – 1902) was an outstanding American preacher who served for the Reformed Church of America. He is recognized as one of the most influential religious leaders of his time. His speech attracted large crowds. During his life in New York City his activity consisted of conducting reforms in the society as well as struggling against violence and crime. Moreover, Thomas De Witt Talmage served for some time as an editor of such magazines as Christian at Work, the Advance, Frank Leslie's Sunday Magazine, the Christian Herald.
