Don’t think that blonde women are the same, but Garnet Lacey was an common blonde midwesterner, but she dresses Goth, dyes her hair black, and runs an occult bookstore somewhere near the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Except for being possessed by Lillith every now and then, Garnet lives a normal life -- until the appearance of Sebastian Von Traum, vampire and reanimated corpse, who has an even deader wife and a son who wants to kill him. Then the plot explodes: The Order of Eustace is out to get Sebastian, there are Vatican witch hunters and sexy dead men, old boyfriends, pleasure biting, bloodstains, and extra stain-cleaning techniques. Lovers of the comic vampire mystery have another pleasure in store.
