This short volume traces Apostolic Successions, and will go briefly into what it is and what it is not, following through the papal numbering and heritage. It will also show you exactly how many lineages exist as fully valid and true lines of succession from Jesus, and it also shows the extant lines that were synthesized recently and have been reconstituted by a few independent Bishops still living to keep it from dying out. The twenty-two extant historic lines of Apostolic Succession from the historical personage of Jesus, through his Apostles, and through each of the successors of the Apostles (now called "bishops"), through the twenty-first century is the most ancient spiritual lineage (including the old roman catholic, syrian-antiochian lineages, etc.) that can be traced through history. Nearly 2000 years old, it is more ancient than any historically extant Tibetan, Hindu, Buddhist, Chinese or other lineages.
