The Bright Silver Star
Very involved story with too many characters. The intricacies were well thought out, but it seemed over the top. There were many details that weren't plot related that I just skimmed, waiting for the story to evolve. When it did, it was good: Sex, lives, cheating spouses, the seamy side of an affluent community. In a way that even seemed like a caricature.
