Anna Green was an American writer, whose detective style was borrowed by English detective writers of ‘old school’. It is completely unfair that the name Anna Katherine Green is almost totally forgotten while she inspired Arthur Conan Doyle, Mary Roberts Rinehart, Wilkie Collins and Agatha Christie, who don’t stop to be popular.
