The book comes in two volumes: ‘History Of The Rise Of The Huguenots Of France’ and ‘Traces The Beginnings Of French Protestantism’. This is a study book. As a compilation of many documents there are a lot of detailed and period discussion.
The book will give you insight into why the French Hugenots left during the first persecution, which is when my ancestors seem to have departed for England and later the new world.
