A 1898 collection of essays by an English writer, editor, critic, and suffragist, Alice Christiana Gertrude Thompson Meynell. Her essays had brought her repute of a brilliant critic, and were regularly published in largest periodicals such as Dublin Review, National Observer, Scots Observer è Pall Mall Gazette.
