This is probably Jacob Boehme's most instructive work, containing the bulk of his ideas, elaborated in his later works.
He treats of the original matrix, or genetrix, concerning the birth of love, the wisdom of God, the angelical world, Lucifer, Paradise, true knowledge, Christian life, Christ's testaments, the broad and narrow way, prayer and fasting, death and dying, God's blessing in this world.
Included with it is a long introduction by George W. Allen, which is helpful in understanding some of Boehme's terminology. An elaborate alphabetical list of topics, with an indication of chapter and verse where these are discussed, can be found near the end of the book.
