An anonymous donor provided 1,978 RMB that allowed 3 Tibetan students who are English majors to teach English 6 hours daily to 50 Tiebu County Tibetan students at Zhagana Tibetan Primary School for 15 days. Jiabu, one of the students, said, "I'm in the Tibetan Middle School in Hezuo. I'€™ve been at school for 12 years but I never had such a great chance as this. During the last 15 days I'€™ve learned a lot of English and also learned that we should be confident when teachers ask questions." Sonan Tsering, a local community member said, "I think this class is very good because our local community has no English teachers so students don't have much chance to study English. Some rich families send their children to Tiebu County Town and their children study English,but we have no money to send our children there. This class gave our children a chance to learn some English and I want to say thank you."
