This item is a collection of tips for transcribers to use in transcribing the spoken word into the written word. It was created for the Digital Tipping Point film project, but it will be equally useful for anyone who would like tips on speeding up their transcription process with ordinary tools. In other words, these tips can be useful for professional transcribers who are equipped with headphones and a transcription pedal and the whole bit, but these tips were intended for someone who just has a few audio or video files to transcribe, and would like to know the fastest way of going about it.
