This is a database giving the name, title, city and county of duty station, annual salary, 2007 bonus compensation, agency and federal pay grade of 1.2 million civilian federal employees in the Executive branch. Included are the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, Justice, Agriculture, Treasury, Labor, and Energy. This list does not include federal employees in the Department of Defense, the Corps of Engineers, the CIA, the TVA, the White House, the Postal Service, Congress, or the federal judiciary. Most non-defense federal employees are covered, though the names of more than half (but not the salaries) of the employees in the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security have been withheld.
