An additional post about this questionable mass transit project--another which spends tax dollars for building construction rather than on train cars, tracks and buses for more actual service--with more key words and additional information. After the 2001 paper here, ConnDOT conducted at least one more study for this project with Harris Associates. According to a WTNH-TV Kent Pierce 2/11/09 report the station price has risen to $100 million with a 2011 opening target date.
