blackfeet tales of glacier national park

Book cover
This book is a wonderful collection of awesome Indian myths which describe the everyday life of the Blackfoot population. Here it is also possible to find some facts about tribal legends which in fact seem to have taken place in the reality. The author of these stories James Willard Schultz was born in a rich family in the state of New York in 1859. He was married to a Blackfoot woman and got interested in the traditions of this tribe. As Schultz notices himself, he was accepted as a member of the tribe and found a number of friends there. Most of these fascinating stories were told by the Blackfoot people in the evening when they were sitting around the fire. The book is definitely recommended to everyone who is interested in Blackfoot and want to feel the special spirituality of this tribe.
